Choose Wisely

If Historians of the future choose to use evidence from our time, I hope they choose wisely.  With the current technological advances its hard to say what has or has not been altered.  Historical evidence is also changing because there is a limit as to how much you can update and revise something to the point where that peice of evidence has evolved into something totally different from its original state.

The post on “Archiving tweets” was new information to me.  It does have its positives and negatives as mentioned by responses from the public.  I do like how Luke stated how the tweets can be used to link, even though a majority of the tweets would be irrelative.  “WikiLeaks” also showed how new technlogy can reveal private information, and information that is to be kept from the public eye.  However regardless of the negatives and positives of todays technlogy future historians will appreciate our faults and hopefully learn from them.
