To tweet or not to tweet

Speaking as a person who personally does not participate in Twitter at all. I got the feeling that such capabilities twitter  has given so many to have a chance to communicate their thoughts from the most frivolous to the most intimate to s many people at any given time . The OLC taken on the task of archiving this information seems to me to be bouth a waste of time and money. Just the preparation of the deciding what  tweets should be recorded and grouped with other relevant tweet could be a very time consuming task. A task that I believe in time  would be proven to be better  spent on something ,anything more useful.
