The Thirteen British Colonies in North America r launched a war against Kingdom of Great Britain (1775-1783), because they rejected to be represented by the parliament of Great Britain and govern them without representation …all that was done in orther to gain a freedom . I think this is the most turning point in American history as a whole and in New York City’s history in particular, because it was the plantinf seed of the United State of America’s birth .
