Rudy Giuliani was the mayor of New York City for two terms, between 1994 and 2001. Leading up to both of his mayoral campaigns(lost the 1989 campaign to David Dinkins), he was the orchestrator of the so called “Case of Cases”, which indicted eleven organized crime figures, including the so called ‘Heads’ of New York’s five Italian crime families. As mayor, he helped clean up New York City streets and make the city what it is today. One of his mayoral actions was allowing for gay and lesbian domestic partnership rights. And allowed for all city employees equal benefits for their domestic partners. He was highly visible in the time after the September 11th attacks on New York City. For his leadership during the aftermath of the attacks he was nicknamed “America’s Mayor”.

You seem to be very, pro Giuliani, but where is the faults during his terms as mayor?
Hi
I agree with in most of what you have written about him, at the same time I’d like to say he quite his position in wake of devastating event that accrued in New york city and he has not contributed much at that time more he was on media …personally only because for his plan to presidential election not to mentioned his biased comment he made at that time on certain community lived in New City for long time.
Everyone in this world has faults. The image of what New York City is today is largely in-part due to him. The assignment wasn’t to write a full history on a subject. I remember vividly that he was on every type of media during his reign as mayor.
