The New York Public Library is an institution that has enriched millions of New Yorkers from all walks of life. This free library system was established in 1895; the main branch, pictured here, was opened in 1911. It has evolved to boast 87 branches and 20,402,004 books.
This is one of the most important historical events, from back in the day. This gave all types of people a opportunity/ a chance to educate themselves and go and learn from the library. The library was free and open to everyone, who needed to use it. It was a great historical event for thousands of people. I rate this a 7 of how important it is .
