The implications of the Facebook image are pretty obvious (an end to privacy), but what else can we gather from the drawing. Facebook has been one of the many tools our new generation has used to evolve. The image symbolizes a change in social relationships, from the way we interact with each other to the ways companies and organizations try to capture our attention and interests. This drawing embodies a shift from a tangible world into a life balanced between physical and virtual.
I love this cartoon image! People have the choice of what they want to put on the internet, and the should have the awareness that whatever they put up is not longer a private matter. The things I am concerned about regarding privacy is what people don’t want to known. The government being able to tap into phone calls, or call logs, leaves citizens without that choice.
