Women in Politics

Besides the factory development and many other development during 1176- 1860, the important change that  took place in nineteenth century was the participation of women in the politics. the special participation was in Washington D. C.   The expansion of participation in politics helped in participation of married and unmarried women  in various kind of job like teaching job and in manufacturing company.

This change has influenced  the society and had a positive change in the society.  Change  helped middle class women to claimed  space between the domestic life and from the male dominating society by giving the opportunities  to work in outer world behind their household activities.

  1. I like your argument, because it really changed position women in comparison that they had before. And what is interesting it still continue to develop. Before woman was only like domestic employee so i am not surprised if day become and we will have a women – president.
