Sounds nice but was you actually there?

The New York transcript gave a coverage of the “anti-aborlition riot on July 14,1834″(pg10). I sight this as a secondary source becasue even through it was written about an event that took place I am not to sure if the writer was actually there to witness the event or if someone told them. I however view it as a trustworthy account because it was written to give knowledge and didnt have no intention for lying since it was jsut giving off information about an event that occur at a paricular time and place.

The picture on page 14 of the intersection in Fivre Point would be consider a primary source because someone had to actaully be there to take the picture. It was taken after 1867 and I know it was no photo shop so I think it is very trustworthy how on Five Point look after 1867. It was photo displaying bulding structure in thsi time that will give us an insight on the living condition was for New Yorkers during this time.

The Evening Post that was pushlish on mARCH 19,1829 is a secondary source becasue ot states that it has been reported that someone was punch in they  face. I dont think this is a trustworthy source because we dont know for sure who reported these event or even if it was made up if readers. All I know is that something was reported and than print but I dont know for sure where the information came from.
