Lost Museum Etiquette

At the Barnum’s museum, I learned about social etiquette. Even in this time period, there are rules of social etiquette that are should be followed. Some examples is to retain a form of anonymity and another is to avoid be ostentatious. There is a certain style, dress cold and rules of conduct that people in a public area ara expected to follow. On an entertainment standpoint, theater has been mentioned multiple times. The same reason that many people go to movies now, it’s assumed that people went to watch plays to escape reality and enter someoneĀ else’s.

A strength about using this website as a historical tool is that it’s a more unconventional and a more interactive way to do research and learn about certain topics. It provides for a way for the person to have fun while doing research. However, at the same time, this is a weakness as well. I found myself being a bit uncomfortable learning information through an interactive website rather than reading on the topic paragraph by paragraph. Also, I feel that without a search function, it’ll be difficult to locate a specific topic for citation.
