Within the reading of Chudacoff he discusses how the publishers of newspapers and magazines try to attract readers by “exposing the scandals and injustices of contemporary society” (Chudacoff 154). When I was reading about it I thought that the idea was great because people would actually read it if it looks interesting and has a good story. And that is exactly what publishers do nowadays in order to get their magazines and newspapers to sell… they try to expose things that may or may not be true.
