August 31 Assignment

After carefully examining both links I have learned that history cannot be told by just one source. It requires the collaboration of several different sources of information to give the most complete neutral view of the situation possible. For example, if the statistics do not match up with a supposed period of “famine” in a nation then we know that we have an inconsistency and more information must be procured to discover the real truth. Historical sources must be seen side by side to help tell apart fact from fiction.
