Keynote Speaker: Anne Fluenwider, Editor-in-Chief, Marie Claire Magazine

The New York Women in Communications Foundation (a 501c3) is the philanthropic arm of New York Women in Communications. The Foundation cultivates future leaders in communications by providing financial support, opportunities for professional development, education and mentoring as well as entrée to a diverse community of professionals. Learn more about the Foundation.

The Foundation, in fact, is the largest one providing support to women studying communications in the NY-NJ-PA-CT region. Annual scholarships range from $2,500 to $10,000 and are given to women based on academic excellence, financial need, community service and a demonstrated interest and involvement in communications. Since the Foundation’s formal establishment in 2000, it has issued over $1 million in scholarship support. The application process begins in November of each year.
