3 GREAT Career Development Programs for Sophomores / Juniors!

 3 GREAT Career Development Programs for Sophomores / Juniors!

  1.  Sophomore Year Navigating Careers (SYNC): The STARR Career Development Center is launching a new program in April 2015 to provide sophomore students at Baruch the fundamental career development training needed to conduct a successful job and internship search. The program will help students explore major and career interests; create a Baruch specific resume, prepare and practice their interviewing skills. Must be a current Baruch sophomore student with graduation date of January, June, or August 2017 w/a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students may apply via STARR Search, under “Workshops.”
  2. Rising Starr Sophomore Program (RSSP): For the upcoming 2015-2016 academic year. The program will help students explore major and career interests and prepare them for work and leadership roles by providing a set of interdisciplinary, structured on and off campus learning experiences culminating in the award of a certificate. Open to students graduating in 2018, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  3. Passport to Partnership (P2P): For the upcoming 2015-2016 academic year. Passport to Partnership was created to encourage sophomores and juniors intending to major in Accounting to gain a head start in their career development while also meeting the increasing demands in the marketplace to identify and develop early leaders. This program is open to students in their sophomore and junior years, with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applications are available via STARR Search, under “Jobs.”
