Hi, my name is Htoo Htoo Thadar Phyu and I am a freshman at Baruch College, majoring in Business Administration in Finance. After graduating from high school in my home country, Myanmar (Burma), I decided to study abroad in the United States. It was such an exciting and thrilling experience to start my next chapter of life in New York City. I believe that I still have to learn a lot from this city as well as Baruch. Studying abroad has taught me to embrace change and challenges that allowed me to understand myself deeply and how to balance my work and life. Travelling and films are my favorite activities to do in my free time and learning new languages has become my newfound passion. Being multilingual in a diverse city motivates me to learn more languages so that I may increase my job opportunities in the future.
