When you create a page or post the comments will be automatically enabled (on). However, sometimes you may want to turn comments off for certain pages and posts. To do this you will need to visit the “All Posts” or “All Pages” section through the dashboard.

Once in the “All Pages/Posts” section of the dashboard, hover your mouse over the page or post that you would like to disable the comments for. When you mouse is hovering over the desired page/post click the “Quick Edit”option. This will open a short menu. On the right side of this menu you will see a check box for “Allow Comments”. Unclicking this check box will disable comments on that page or post. In the future, if you would like to turn on the comments for that page or post, you can return to this menu and turn the comments back on.
