The “Responses” tab on this site is constructed using a category. There is an “Response” category and any post that is categorized as a “Response” will feed into this area/tab.

A professor could utilize categories (like “Responses”) to organize student posts on the blog. A professor could require students to post on various topics. Students could categorize their post accordingly, here as a “Response”.  Each time some one creates a post, selecting the category will determine where that post appears on the site. The WordPress category feature creates the ability to organize the site by categorizing the posts in order to determine where they display on the site.
