Russolo’s The Art of Noise challenges the old ideas of music by showing that the sounds of machines and city life can be just as rich and interesting as traditional tunes. I connect with his bold view because it sees beauty in the everyday sounds that many people ignore. I like how he pushes us to think of music in a new way and not just stick to the old rules. However, I don’t fully agree with letting go of the simple songs and melodies that have a special charm. Overall, the work makes me see sound and art from a fresh angle.
