The reason for this page lies in this: My focus was in the wrong place.
After some thought on my original idea which was that the Internet controlled us, It occured to me that this was an incorrect idea. Instead, I opted for the word “influence.”
This conclusion was made mostly on the closer study of the counter-argument against my ideas which was: “we are ultimately in control of what we do no matter the outside influences. Technology does not control us, it is we who use it that are in control”
It all comes down to choice. If we choose not to be immersed in the internet, then these problems would not exist in the form they are now.
