Hello, my name is Jason and I’m a Freshman in Baruch College
A little about myself:
I was born and raised in Brooklyn all my life. I went to Mark Twain for middle school, and Staten Island Tech for high school before finally settling on Baruch for college. Some of my hobbies include working out, video games, anime, chiropracting, biking, and most importantly: Always trying out new things. A common trend you’ll see in many of my papers is the theme of exploring controversial topics. Throughout history, one of the most common ways for leaders to control people is by limiting their access to literature. By always asking questions and having the willingness to explore new topics, you are actively contributing to the movement of resisting the chains of the mainstream media.
In this English class, I can promise you that you’ll have a great time. When given the freedom and flexibility you’ll have in Professor Kwon’s class, you’ll forget the concept of reading and writing being a boring subject. Because when you get to choose your topics, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself when you choose a bad topic. So it definitely helps to choose a subject of interest before writing your next paper.
Tips for the class:
- Come to class prepared
- Try not to always be late like me
- Choose interesting topics
- Be open to new ideas and topics
