Hello everyone,

I will be writing about Jones Beach State Park, it has been a very important part of my life since I started to love the beach. Me and my friends always go in the summer to hang out, go for a swim, and get a nice tan. Also many good food spots, where you can just kick it. Its always such a great spot to be with your friends and family. Jones Beach Island is one of the outer barrier islands off the southern coast of Long Island in the U.S. state of New York. It is named for Major Thomas Jones, who first came to Long Island in 1692, where he proceeded to build the island’s first brick house near Massapequa. Me and my friends all live in Massapequa which is a great convenience for us. There are other beaches but Jones Beach is the best, and the closest to all of us.

Jones Beach is one of the best places you can be on a nice Summer day

This is the Jones Beach theater at Jones Beach where they hold annual music events. Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater is an outdoor amphitheatre at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh, New York. It is one of two major outdoor arenas in the New York metropolitan area, along with PNC Bank Arts Center. The theater is the home of the annual Billboard Hot 100 music festival, this is where they host many of the top artists and have a 2 day long  party. There are multiple stages where they have different performers, and you choose which one you would like to see, although the better artists are more packed so you have to arrive early. The best part about the theater is it is extremely affordable to attend events and it is super local.

Jones Beach theater is one of the top places to be during the Spring and Summer.

This is the main beach area, where families and kids go to have a nice day at the beach. It is a very good beach and it has very big waves. It is definitely the place the place to be on a hot Summer day. Although, it is always very packed. This is because Jones Beach is an attraction for all of New York. There are no other beaches so most people from all over come here. In order to get in you need to pay $10 from 6am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

This is the Jones Beach boardwalk, this is the place most people come to get their daily walk or jog in during the Summer. The boardwalk goes the length of the beach and is filled with people. Long Island gets very hot in the Summer, so the boardwalk is a great place to be because of the breeze the ocean gives.
