The Art Of Noises

In the reading the art of Noise Russolo sort of opened up our imagination in a way one can listen to music. For instance all the different aspects that go into the making a single sound. Each noise and its pure essence it can have on an a person who is listening to it. Such as him stating the energy it gives off to people. Yeah some people might not like to sit at an orchestra, but when sitting down and listening to the beautiful melodies come from these instruments it can change they way people perceive these sounds not through the eyes, but through the ears. It gives people a different kind of sensation as he says that leave people having different takes. For example he states not everyone is pleasant to hear these noises but not all noises projected are great to hear depending on the person who is playing it.

The music choice I decided to go with is: http://www.ubu.com/sound/agp/AGP170-171.html

I chose Ivo Malec’s melody because it happened to be very interesting. As in for example like the reading said not all noises are pleasant to hear. This melody reminds me of when I watch a scary movie, which tends to be something in most cases that happen in movies. Such as a melody that leads to someone knowing that something bad is going to happen within the next two or three minutes. The Melody being played portrays the different sensations someone can have when listening to it and for me when listening to it reminds me of different movements such as the fast pace in which it is played. The roars, jingles, and the shrill sounds giving off a emotion to one when listening to this piece is effective.
