After reading the article “The Medium is the Message” by Marshall McLuhan I started to think of various things. This article sort of opened up different doors as to asking myself why certain things can alter the way we acknowledge the world. The form that we perceive a message either visual, musical, or print can determine the ways in which one will perceive a message. Such as the radio, television, and film for example could have extensive aesthetic or sociological consequences that can actually modify the way in which we experience the world itself throughout our lives.

A picture in which I have decided to upload for an example after reading the article would have to be of a camera. I chose this specific object because it simply enables people to capture special moments or even unique objects with a single push of a button. When pushing the button it captivates an image that can be shared by many and could be seen all over. The picture that is taken could be perceived in many ways. I believe this device is a perfect example because one can take this device and think of the many different aspects and reasoning’s for the sole purpose and all the meaning each picture can mean if shared between people such as artwork or old memories between family and friends. I believe this device can change the world around you in many ways.
