  1. Dear Jennifer,

I went over your slideshow three straight times. I think using a chalkboardlike first slide was a good move. It wasn’t standard issue and sets your work apart.

You caught the artistic flavor of the Village. The picture of the crowd watching the break dancer as well as the one with the circle of guitarists was excellent.

I also liked the photo of the curved street. I used to do deliveries down there and there are a lot of nooks and crannies to navigate that take a while to get familiar with. Plus it is a solitary, quiet shot in the midst of a bunch that were busy and well-populated.

Your captions are also very lively. They make the Village inviting without feeling like a tourist guide.

Now I want to go down there just to chill!!

    1. Hello Jose,

Thank you very much for the compliment. I am so glad to hear someone else, besides myself, enjoyed it. You viewed the pics three times straight? Wow! I am speechless.

With the captions, I wanted people to get the feeling of peace and comfort. It’s what I always feel when my dog and I go to Washington Square Park. That’s what I kept thinking about when I was writing them.

I do hope you find time to hang out in the Village. I think of it as the place in the City that will accept you as you are. Have a great night!
