In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, an 8-acre National Grid site in Rockaway, Queens, has become a very valuable resource for the restoration of the Rockaway Peninsula. Site manager, Vincent Esposito, speaks about the restoration process, and how the site is currently being used.
