  1. I think that over all your photos are good. I think that your information could be better. Allow the slides to tell the viewer where he/she is and add some info that doesn’t appear on the slide. Tell us something we don’t know, something that draws us into the neighborhood. Obviously it’s a pricey area. How much is the real estate up there?

Plus you need to get a slide with a person’s quote. This is very important.

I think that the font size needs to be smaller. It overshadows your slides.

I’m not saying this to bust your chops. I know that you were under a lot of personal pressure trying to get this done. I commend you for getting it in under the wire. Perhaps you can ask for a little more time to clean up this slideshow. I think it has a lot of potential. Don’t be afraid to ask for more time or to send Emily an email at her blog for tips to help make your presentation better.

Also, since it looks like what we’ve learned in our first two projects will be incorporated into our final big one, you might want to get written instructions of the process for each task. There’s nothing wrong with driving in the slow lane to get where you’re going. All that matters is that you complete the journey.

I say this as a student who’s in the same boat as you. I’m not technically savvy and I often feel as though I’m playing catch up, so I can empathize with your anxiety about these projects. Just don’t let them overwhelm you.

Remember: Our instructors want us to succeed. Our success is their success.

    Good Luck!!
