- 1. COMPLETE VIDEO: have either myself or Emily look at final version, then export it out of iMovie and upload video to YouTube or Vimeo so you have either the embed code or URL needed to post to ScrollKit or class blog.
- 2. COMPLETE SECOND MULTIMEDIA FEATURE: again, make sure that either myself or Emily has had a chance to see what you are working on and give editing suggestions. Once complete, host files somewhere where you can get coding to post feature to ScrollKit or class blog (Audio to SoundCloud, Google map you’ll get from Google, SoundSlide, you will need to give me your “publish to web” folder so I can host it for you and then I will email you the coding)
- 3. COMPLETE EDITS OF WRITTEN STORY: You should have sent me your rewritten story by today. I will send back my additional comments by tomorrow, and will be available to read additional versions over the course of the week by email. All stories must be completed for posting by Monday, Dec. 9. (PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM VERY AWARE OF WHO HAS NOT MET DEADLINES IN THIS AREA, AND GRADES WILL BE AFFECTED)
- 4. PICK PHOTOS FOR ILLUSTRATING PROJECT: You will need to find a few photos to illustrate your project. One will be included as the main photo at the top of your ScrollKit page (You should remember this from Emily’s presentation earlier this semester) and you will probably want a couple additional smaller ones in the body of your ScrollKit story. You will also need one photo that is different to illustrate your post on the class blog.
- 5. CREATE YOUR SCROLLKIT PAGE: Once all your parts are completed, you will create a page for your project on Scrollkit. Pay special attention to your headline (be sure to include your byline) and how you place your photos and multimedia into the body of the story.
- 6. CREATE A POST ON THE CLASS BLOG: This post will have a headline similar to the one you have in the ScrollKit page, and you will write a two-sentence introduction to the project (make sure to include your name in the post) and will insert a photograph (You will have to size the photograph in PhotoShop, and we will give you that information on Wednesday). Finally, you will include the link to your ScrollKit page.
MUST BE COMPLETED BY START OF CLASS ON MONDAY, DEC. 9, when we will begin presentations.
