This photo slideshow consist of 13 photos that is part of the “Shoe Obsession” exhibition from The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology, displaying designs of extravagant shoes created by famous designers.  This photo slideshow is effective in attracting interest because the focus of the page is on each individual shoe with a few sentences to introduce the designer and interesting facts accommodating each shoe.

This audio slideshow is a narration by Edwin Shneidman, a man who studied death all his life, reasoning that death is inevitable and persuading his listeners to understand.  This audio slideshow is extremely effective because it exudes emotional appeal and creates an indescribable sense of closure to his life.  The out-of-breath narration, the pauses in between his sentences, and the photos of deterioration enhance the words spoken by Edwin Shneidman.

Audio Podcast-‘Fresh Off The Boat’ And Serving Up Asian Culture

This audio podcast is a very influential piece about the life of Eddie Huang, an up and coming foodie, who owns New York’s Baohous restaurant and the host of his own food show on Vice TV.  This podcast focuses on the Chinese culture he grew up in while living on American soil.  This piece is very effective as a podcast because as he speaks, the emotions in his voice express the deep attachment he has to the values he has learned from his past.

This is a video of a compilation of all the movie scenes that have been filmed in the Grand Central station over the years for its 100th anniversary.  This multimedia option was a smart and logical choice because the only way to show the different movies filmed in Grand Central station is to show video clips of the scenes.

This is a website that includes interactive features about seven amazing exoplanets, allowing viewers to explore these planets up close.  This website includes texts, photos, data, videos, and audio within the videos.  It is a very effective form of multimedia reporting for such a topic because it allows each viewer to engage with the material on the website.
