This audio slideshow is taken from the miami herald website.  It illustrates in an audio slideshow format, pictures taken by a journalist after the earthquake that hit Haiti.  It is effective in getting the message across because showing only pictures eliminates some distractions that may accompany a video.

The photos taken of the civil unrest occurring in Egypt offer a more vivid illustration of the events that are taking place there.  It is more interesting to view pictures of the event than reading n article about it alone.
