For my podcast I’m planning on doing a “The Economy” story about a young woman who recently left her job and home in Chicago ad moved to New York to pursue her dream: to work in publishing. But as we all know, this is not an easy field to get into. Camille, the woman I’m planning to interview, ended up taking a unpaid internship just to get “her foot in the door,” and is now also struggling to find another job on the side to make some money.

For this story I plan to interview Camille and maybe someone at the magazine she is doing an internship at. I believe this could be an interesting story about someone who is taking a big risk in order to pursue her dream career. Even though it a story about struggle  it has a positive message: Dare to dream and believe in yourself and your abilities.
