I’m toying with the idea of doing a podcast about a local salon where the owner is the only person cutting and styling hair. It isn’t like a typical salon where a few licensed beauticians “rent” a chair.

By interviewing the owner, my plan is to see if and how this impacts business because if she is the only one doing hair, does she lose business if there isn’t enough help to tend to customers? I would like to find out if the economy has impacted the needs of her clients. For example, has she found that less customers are going for more expensive treatments?
