On Thursday night February 7th Brooklyn College hosted a speaker named Judith Butler. She is a pro-Palestinian speaker and on Thursday she spoke on behalf of the(B.D.S.) or the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement. Their purpose is  to stop economic dealings with Israel, in attempt to end Israel’s occupation and colonization of all Arab lands. During this event there were 4 pro-Israel supporters who were kicked out. According to those running the event they were being disruptive, however the students claimed that they were acting peacefully and that all they were doing was holding pieces of paper with questions written on them to ask at the end of the event. CUNY is investigating further into this matter.
