The Chinatown of Queens

Often times, the first impression of people who visit Flushing, New York, views it as another Chinatown.  Flushing’s main population is about 75% Asian, ranging from Chinese to Korean to Indian.  Flushing is praised to have good food and cheap rent, but complained to have dirty, crowded streets and loud conversations.  Flushing is not here to show its glamorous architecture or hipster neighborhood, but here to show the rest of New York City a genuine experience of its melting pot of cultures.  The neighborhood does not stop for anything or anyone, it operates daily, catering to the needs of the locals.  Like its residents, Flushing is unafraid of challenge and works hard to maintain its diverse community.
