1. Economy: Time to Find a Job

Many college seniors and recent graduates are struggling to figure out what comes next, specifically because they can’t find a job or at least the type of job they intended to have right after college. Are there expectations unreasonably high? Or is the job market hostile to a point where one simply can’t enter it? I would interview a few recent grads/college seniors about their job search experience thus far, and what they feel their outlooks are in the current market.

2. Local (Baruch) Issue: Will your grades follow you?

Students that take their GPAs seriously work hard to maintain high grades. But how important are those grades to one’s future? I would interview at least three individuals who followed different career paths (ie. medical school, law school, career) and see how significant of a role As and Bs played in their careers.
