I have two friends I could possibly interview and incorporate into a story about the tough economy. One of them is a Baruch graduate who majored in journalism and is trying to start up her own magazine. To make ends meet, she’s currently working as a restaurant server. I’ve talked to her on a few occasions and have read briefly about her struggles via Facebook and I think she would be an interesting person to profile since she has managed to keep such a positive spirit despite the adversity that has been thrown at her thus far.

The other person I could possibly interview is a friend of mine from high school. He recently graduated Hunter College with a business degree and landed a great job at FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). I know that he also had major doubts about how he would fare in today’s grim economy so it would be a more hopeful story.
