The Epilogue

Like all good things, I guess this class must come to an end. I will surely miss it. I can’t say that I will be walking out of this class the same person I walked in as.  For if I had both came and left the same then I probably didn’t learn anything. As I have stated all semester, I believe the proper title should be Race and Injustice. However, I believe that this course has added to knowledge that I previous obtained from past classes. I felt it was quite interesting to learn about Native Americans due to the fact that my previous assumption about the class was basically “Black  Studies” disguised as another class. Though Leonard Peltier’s book was rather boring and dull his words have a way of sticking to you, forcing you to remember. It was as if he did it for precisely that reason. Learning not only about black history but also that of Native Americans helps one to fully understand that no one is alone when they feel a certain way. As I said before, I really enjoyed this class and I wish it didn’t have to come to an end. GOOD-BYE
