Artist Assignment 2 – Listening and Describing

The first sound feels like it came from a very lonely, dark night. It reminds me of a very soft knock on a wooden door or the floor cracking when trying to make zero noise. Very peculiar, but familiar at the same time.

The second sound is the description of New York, chaotic and full of energy. The infinite chatter of people is definitely a vibrant noise. You can sort of feel the pulse of the city.

This third sound sort of spooked me out, it’s like a twisting sound, something twisting through a glass tube, making quiet, echoey whispers.

This fourth sound, I’m not quite sure how to even describe it, but I’ll say, I’ll just think creatively and say it’s bubbles popping deep underwater, mixed with very rubbery squeaks. I don’t know if that makes sense lol

Lastly, this last sound I decided to listen to felt familiar, but not really. This sound reminded me of paper tapping not on a desk but on like a shiny, silky floor, a little strange.
