I decided to do this passage because it stood out to me. I’m constantly always hearing about AI (artificial intelligence), and for some reason I have never asked myself how long AI has been around for. I used to play a lot of racing simulator games, and the same with fighting ones, where I always competed with the player “computer.”. I knew this opponent was created by the system, or in other words, it was integrated into the game. I never really thought about the complexity of the AI that powered these virtual opponents, and thinking about it now It’s fascinating, especially to think about how far AI has come since those early days of gaming. It makes me wonder what other advancements in AI have been made that I am not aware of.This paragraph definitely sparked some curiosity to discover how AI is being utilized in big industries and just how it continues to shape our world today. This paragraph did also leave me thinking about maybe the risks or the cons of AI, such as privacy concerns and potential job displacement. But despite all that, I am still curious to see how AI can be used to address global challenges, such as climate change or poverty and other crises going on in the world. I honestly believe that artificial intelligence has the potential to enhance our lives in so many ways. I mean, we are already seeing many; it can be scary, though I can’t deny that, but at least I know that the world is evolving, and I just hope AI is used for good and for the well being of humans and our beautiful mother earth.
