The Problem With Activities in School

choice_Altavena-blog480People can spend their summer in many different ways. A big factor in what they choose to do is their financial capacities. Some of the students that work in a small job as opposed to engaging in a program that may help them get accepted to an elite college; this is because they need the money and their oarents have no extra money to spend and send them to one of these programs. It is really unfair to these students because as they are applying to college, they don’t have much experience to show since they never had the ability to join any of these programs. Many directors of college admissions said that it is very well understood that the students that have financial issues may not have the most “productive” summers and they don’t really need to justify it when applying to the college. They are very understanding when it comes to this.
