Left Hook NYC is a blog dedicated to bringing readers the latest boxing, MMA, and grappling news and stories occurring throughout the New York area. Beyond that, it is a place for readers to have fun by discussing fantasy fights, and a source of advice for new gym go-ers. The emphasis on stories will be news regarding the New York fight scene, but of course, the large main stream events will also receive coverage. Through this blog, local gyms, fighters, and trainers will be given the spotlight and will allow readers to get to know these places and people much better.

As an aspiring coach, currently training out of John’s Boxing Gym in the South Bronx, as well as the world renowned Renzo Gracie Academy, I want to share my passion for martial arts with like minded individuals who call out of work to not miss the big fights on Saturday nights.
