To reflect on my writing process, I realized that I am more of a macro writer because I like to have an idea, and write down the stuff down. Thus, I would normally have a rough draft of the writing assignment, from beginning to end, and it is usually in bullets, then have it by the side of my actual writing so that I know where to begin. In my opinion, starting the writing assignment is the most difficult part, because once I have an idea, the rest of the paper just follows that idea and carries on. In addition, on assignments where I do not have a rough draft with the notes have for the paper, I would usually tangent off to talk about another topic, and wouldn’t even realize that since there isn’t a checklist for me to follow. However, my rough draft only has the basic ideas and notes written down, so when I took at them, it will remind me of the more description things that happened, allowing me to provide more imagery when I write my actually assignment. Even if the ideas may be somewhat disorganized, it provides a structure for me to follow.
