Spider

Patients are attached to the spider with bungee cords that hold them in place. This is actually the opposite of the suit, as in the spider, the patient will begin to feel weightless. Therapists can adjust the way the patient moves certain muscles by attaching bungee cords in different locations to help the patient in areas where he/she may be weaker. This will help the patient begin to feel what it is like to move these certain muscles helping them to eventually do it without the assistance of the spider.  They will be able to perform certain movements independently, as the bungee cords will be supporting them.
