I like this question as it leads to a lot of research and ability to give helpful insight on how big players in the game such as google are changing are privacy daily. I feel that you could use a little more specifics in your example as google gathers information in multiple ways. In oder to make your paper more uniformed you might want to focus on a certain aspect such as taking of information from social sites, such as Facebook or myspace. I like your use of the word endanger also because it lets us know exactly what your focusing on in terms of the the person’s privacy.
I am with Kevin on this: your question is indeed interesting but could be rewritten with more specifics and fewer abstract and easily miscontrued words (“methods of gathering,” “information,” and “endanger.”) I think it would be best to focus on one particular practice of Google’s (and specify it in your question) and what specific effect it has on privacy. Or maybe you’d want to do a question about why people may knowingly give up privacy of their personal information in exchange for a specific service from Google? There are a lot more narrow paths you can take this general topic down; try to find one that you think is genuinely interesting.
