Strong Interest Inventory Interpretation

by Lily Poon

After taking the strong interest inventory interpretation, I got interesting results. My top ten were: Medical Technician, Radiologic Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, Production Worker, Medical Technologist, Pharmacaist, Biologist, Artist, and Speech Pathologist.

I was quite surprised I got these “strong occupations” because truthfully, I have not heard of some of these occupations. I am quite interested in science so I think the strong interest inventory interpretation hit the spot on the science fields but I don’t know if I would be that into the medical fields that were shown. I believe that these can be alternative careers in the future if I decide to change my mind about a certain career.

I have always wanted to be some kind of Biologist whether it is in the forensic field, research field, or working and interacting with animals. I think working and interacting with animals would be fun because there are always news about some researcher or scientist who discovers a new species and I think that when they find this new species it’s a great accomplishment. I would feel proud of my self if I found a new species! Other than animals, I always loved mystery books, so relating it to forensics, it is like solving a murder mystery! I think I would be very interested in being a forensic scientist or a forensic biologist who works in the lab. I believe I can learn from what the information I find and would enjoy doing it (after all I still think it’s like solving a murder mystery, Sherlock Holmes? =D ).

I admit the strong interest inventory interpretation was very close to the careers I THINK I might want to do.
