My days are boring. I do the same monotonous things every day. I wake up, go to school, pay attention in class and go home. I wonder if I continue to listen to what others say where will I end up? Will I be stuck behind a desk surrounded by white plaster walls listening to the complaints of others? I want to live my life. I do not want to just get by on a meager salary surrounded by rules, regulations and orders from the faceless above. I want to be free. Free from all the worries and complexities that are a “civilized” life. I wonder, in this land of the free are we truly? We wake up, go to work, go to school, listen to our bosses or teachers, obey the law, obey the police, follow the fashion trends, buy what others tell you so you can be just like everyone else, don’t question the corporations, believe what the press tells you… And I again repeat. I Am Free. I dread a future where everything is grey and white. I wish for a world vibrant, colorful, chaotic, filled with peace, love, hate, strife, life and death. I don’t know what I want exactly. But I know. I want to be free.
