This sound art is composed of eight parts each interspersed by few seconds of silence. First, I  drew the sounds to put an image on what I heard and to understand what they may represent for me. I did not translate the title at the beginning to not be influenced by the sense the artist might have given to his work. The first thing that kept to my mind when I was drawing was large swirls, interwoven waves and scratches. Sounds was pretty strident and aggressive. I identified string instruments, not guitar but it sounded like instruments from ancient civilizations or nomadic tribes. It was as if someone was scrapping very hard with his or her nails on a wood surface. Sounds was sometimes very deep and slow and sometimes quite piercing and confusing. This composition made me feel about a total mess, as if the artist had wanted to represent chaos. On the other hand, sounds also made me feel about alien language that we can hear in the movies. When I transladed the title into English, it made sense : Risveglio Di Una Città means awakening of a city. When a huge city like New York wakes up, I cannot imagine all the disorder that can be created : lights on, slamming doors, people running in the streets because they are late, the subway rush, this guy that burns himself again with his matinal coffee… Everyone starts its day and that breaks with the still of the night. Conversely, I think if the author had had to represent the night, sounds would have been slower in order to inspire calm and serenity.
