Group 6 Panel Introduction speech (tentative)
“entrepreneurship starts with an idea, a concept that drives one to take the risk of creating a business. In the service industry this feat can be extremely challenging, since there is no tangible product to advertise. In essence, the entrepreneur has to sell an idea to the client. As a result, many obstructions may impede small businesses in their pursuit of success. Among these, a few of the biggest challenges are competition, lack of financing and capital, time management, and difficulties in establishing networks. According to our text, 80% of start-up businesses fail within the first five years of operation, so one can only imagine how difficult it is to start and run a business. Our panels today will be sharing their experiences as entrepreneurs in the service industry. If you have any specific questions during the presentation, please feel free to ask them at anytime. We will now ask each speaker to introduce themselves. ” (please feel free to comment if you have and suggestions)

This is great Eli. I’ll talk to you soon!
Sounds like a good intro. I’m excited to see what the panelists will speak about with this topic!
Sounds good to me, can’t wait to see it tomorrow. I think you guys will do good.
I enjoyed this panel very much. The speakers were very enthusiastic and talked about key ideas for success. Scot talked about vision. I also believe that vision is critical when you start anything in life. You have to be able to see the begining, the middle, and the end product all at once. Not only that but keep up with the momentum and bounce back at any given difficulty or challenge. Jessie talked about having the right perspective towards your obstacles, look at them as challenge rather than difficulties. In addition, he talked about keeping the enthusiasm level up because it is contagious and has a snowball effect, to be patient, to keep faith in your purpose and to shoot high !!!
