I am a freshman at Baruch College, CUNY, and plan to major in biology. I was born in the city of the lights, Manhattan, New York City and raised in the Bronx. Learning about all sorts of topics related to science has always captivated my attention and one day I hope to become a part of the medical field. I chose Baruch College because while I was in High School I did some College Now there and was fascinated by the campus. In addition, I wanted to stay close to home and Baruch was the perfect fit for me. My mother migrated from Mexico to the United States at the age of eighteen. My mother is a strong-willed and wise woman always doing what she thinks is best for me. I am the youngest child of two and plan on going far and beyond to accomplish my goals.
