Parents, this is an alarming statistic that should motivate you to become more aware of what goes on in the classrooms your children attend. My blog posts will keep you updated on how to interact with your child to help them throughout their early education years so that they can gain the confidence and desire to continue to higher education institutions. My idea is that you become interested in becoming a part of your child’s school through programs like PTA and after school programs that help children become interested in various topics.
Please be aware of the workshops that will be posted on the parent blog page so that you can attend these informative sessions that will help you better understand the American education landscape. During these workshops you will be taught different techniques to help your child study better at home and keep them interested in studying through your efforts. You can choose to take the classes in English or Spanish but I urge you to do your best to learn the English language better so that you can really connect with your child.
