They are three single moms close to me of whom I draw inspiration from as they to know the juggle and struggle of raising children alone.

My bestie Daisy is a single working mother of 4 year old Tristan whose dad tragically past away when he was 1 years old. She was devastated by the sudden lost but she kept pushing forward through difficult times and continued to put her faith in God. She graduated with her Bachelors in Hospitality Management in 2007 from City Tech in Brooklyn.

My cousin Janet is a single working mother of 7 year old Jaelyn and 1 year old Joseph. She is finishing up her Associates degree in Criminal Justice at Borough of Manhattan Community College at the end of the Fall 2104 semester with hopes to have a long career in law enforcement. She knows the juggle and struggle of this life and continues to keep her faith in God to help carry her through difficult times.

My aunt is the ultimate single working mother with 5 children and 7 grandchildren. She has always looked for ways to improve the lives of her children as well as herself whether it was completing various trainings or holding multiple jobs. She has struggled with many adversities in life including losing her eldest child in 2013, yet she has never wavered in her faith and relationship with God.
