Harlem Explosion– The Aftermath

LEAD IN: On Wednesday, March 12th, 2014, an explosion destroyed two buildings in Harlem because of a gas leak. Dozens of families lost their homes and are now displaced. Gabriela Calogero reports from East Harlem on the aftermath.

No Dogs Allowed

For many of the residents of the Parkchester section of the Bronx, the idea of having a dog as a family pet is a dream, but dogs are not allowed to be in the buildings or on the premises of Parkchester. However, that doesn’t seem to stop most residents from sneaking pets into their homes. Eddie Bolden has more from the Bronx.

MTA Installing Cameras on Trains

In response to the December Metro-North derailment that killed four people, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced last week that it is putting video cameras on trains to closely monitor conductors. Jaclyn Poppe spoke with commuters.
